Better Together! Dalet Acquires Ooyala Flex Media Platform business.
Dalet Digital Media Systems today announced that it will introduce a number of major upgrades to its product line at IBC 2007 in Amsterdam. Based on version 2.0 of the Dalet media asset management engine, these new releases offer improved support for video formats (including IMX and HD), optimized usability as well as tighter integration with third-party editing systems and video servers:

All of these new product releases will be demonstrated during the IBC exhibition in Amsterdam (stand 420, hall 9, from Friday 7 to Tuesday 11 of September).

Dalet OnAir supports both operator controlled and automated playout so as to ensure error-free broadcasts. Thanks to its MOS and XML gateways, it can be dynamically updated by third-party newsrooms and traffic systems. This new version supports an increased set of external devices and introduces a unique video cart wall play-out interface that drastically simplifies gallery operations for live shows and programs.
