Award winning EnhanceTV service automates media operations to deliver compelling content



As a non-profit, EnhanceTV curates the best of Broadcast TV to safely deliver the most relevant curriculum-linked videos to Australian Educational Institutions.


EnhanceTV, a subsidiary of the not-for-profit organisation Screenrights, is a subscription-based service providing educators with licensed television and film video content to use in the classroom. Screenrights wanted to build a modern and scalable video portal that offers a great user experience and an easy way to search and discover content. They also wanted to establish an automated and scalable process to manage and publish content from their contributors.



The Ooyala Flex Media Platform, implemented by Dalet partner Digital Logistics, powers the EnhanceTV service from curation, production, ingestion, to distribution and video-on-demand playback.

Within the Ooyala Flex Media Platform, the Content Production and Content Distribution solutions automate repetitive tasks, simplify complex processes and deliver content timely to EnhanceTV’s end-users.


EnhanceTV automated their media operations, increased efficiencies and reduced manual tasks.

They have also seen increased engagement and usage from their subscribers, and can now drive subscriptions aggressively and scale the service without incremental support costs.

In August 2018, the EnhanceTV service also won the Innovation in Education category at the ABE Awards in Australia.
