Dalet flagship radio products Dalet 5.1 and DaletPlus Radio Suite now support the iBiquity encoder enabling Program Associated Data (PAD) or Main Program Service data to be automatically transmitted during broadcast. As a result, programs broadcast with Dalet 5.1 and DaletPlus Radio Suite can dynamically update HD Radio receiver screens to inform listeners of what’s currently playing. This OnAir plug-in also supports RDS for FM, PAD for DAB and XML for web streaming platforms.

In addition to support for HD Radio, Dalet will be demonstrating simplified podcast distribution at the NAB Radio Show held in Dallas Texas September 20 – 22 (stand 420). Thanks to a dedicated plug-in, DaletPlus Radio Suite users can now “click and cast” any audio asset from their digital audio library. Format conversion and associated metadata insertion are automated and the resulting MP3 file is pushed to a predefined directory over the LAN or WAN. This automated content publication simplifies content distribution and syndication and perfectly illustrates the multiplatform “create once, broadcast many” philosophy that drives Dalet products.
