Dalet will showcase at IBC 2007 (September 7-11) the seamless integration of Digidesign Pro Tools with Dalet Radio Suite made possible by the new Creative Network Design MetaPlug Broadcast extension. MetaPlug Broadcast 2.0 for Dalet Radio Suite enables complex Digidesign Pro Tools mixes with associated metadata to be saved to a Dalet Content Catalogue and made available to all Dalet users. As such, this integration merges post-production workflows based on Digidesign Pro Tools with integrated production, scheduling and play-out workflows powered by Dalet Radio Suite, as well as with digital archives based on Dalet Media Library.

Prior to the Dalet integration with MetaPlug Broadcast, Digidesign Pro Tools users had to undertake multiple steps to hand off their sessions including: bounce to disk, upload to an FTP site, import the file and then manually enter metadata into the Dalet Asset Manager. The new MetaPlug Broadcast 2.0 for Dalet Radio Suite reduces this upload process to a single step conveniently from the Digidesign Pro Tools application. The entire media file including metadata is seamlessly populated in the Dalet Content Catalogue and available across the entire music production and playout workflow.
