Paris , France – September 27, 2006 – Dalet Digital Media Systems, a leading provider of media management tools for more than a decade , today announced that the Russian Satellite Channel Rusiya Al-Yaum will use the DaletPlus News Suite solution to broadcast its programs in Arabic. This Dalet installation comes just ten months after the successful deployment of the DaletPlus end-to-end newsroom solution at Russia Today. This DaletPlus New Suite installation will provide Rusiya Al-Yaum with comprehensive newsroom production, playout and archiving capabilities leveraging the power of Omneon video servers and standard IT technology.

Established in April 2005 by the autonomous non-profit organization TV-Novosti , Russia Today is a news channel oriented for global viewers. It broadcasts in English 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Rusiya Al-Yaum is planned to go on-air during the first quarter of 2007. The Channel is an Arabic language news service for Arab and Arabic speaking viewers. It is devoted mainly to news and information. Additionally, it will offer viewers a variety of documentaries, discussion programs, press reviews, business, cultural and sports events.
