New russian satellite TV channel ’Rusia Al-Yaum’ chooses Dalet to broadcast in Arabic 

Paris , France – September 27, 2006 – Dalet Digital Media Systems, a leading provider of media management tools for more than a decade , today announced that the Russian Satellite Channel Rusiya Al-Yaum will use the DaletPlus News Suite solution to broadcast its programs in Arabic. This Dalet installation comes just ten months after the successful deployment of the DaletPlus end-to-end newsroom solution at Russia Today. This DaletPlus New Suite installation will provide Rusiya Al-Yaum with comprehensive newsroom production, playout and archiving capabilities leveraging the power of Omneon video servers and standard IT technology.

Rusiya Al-Yaum is planned to go on-air during the first quarter of 2007. The Channel is an Arabic language news service for Arab and Arabic speaking viewers.
