Canadian Broadcasting Corporation - Radio Canada (CBC) DaletPlus Radio Suite provides CBC a unified platform for production and broadcast operations, as well as a media warehouse for consolidating national audio archives. As such, DaletPlus Radio Suite is used as an enterprise media platform deployed across the workflow; from ingest and production, to broadcast, archive and distribution. The massive installation seeds 2000 plus seats.
National Public Radio (NPR)
NPR chose Dalet’s radio solutions for its innovative approach to managing digital audio and levering IT centric hardware. To date, Dalet’s radio technology is installed on 300 plus workstations throughout NPR’s main facilities in Washington DC and Los Angeles CA. Dalet is used to prepare and broadcast popular programs including “All Things Considered” and “Morning Edition”.
Polskie Radio
Warsaw based Polskie Radio uses Dalet extensively for news production. From managing news feeds to broadcast, Dalet’s radio products facilitate the entire production and broadcast process. Remote field journalists access production tools via Dalet’s InterWeb technology.
Radio France International (RFI)
Employing some 650 journalists worldwide, RFI delivers fast-breaking global news in 20 different languages. To effectively support this diverse 24-hour operation, the RFI technical team implemented DaletPlus Radio Suite for news production. Keeping the same infrastructure in tact, the DaletPlus Radio Suite implementation integrated RFI’s existing radio product and made the tools for story creation accessible from the journalists desktop. By centralizing tools and materials, the news production process was streamlined, enabling RFI Journalists to freely share information, ideas and stories more effectively.
Radio Suisse Romande (RSR)
The 280-seat DaletPlus Radio Suite implementation includes DaletPlus Newswire and OnAir components to prepare news programs as well as Music Rotation and LiveAssist for music programming. News and music materials are stored in the DaletPlus asset management application with its associated metadata for super fast search and retrieval of source materials.
Russian State Television and Radio (Radio Rassiya)
The 100-seat DaletPlus Radio Suite installation is used to prepare news stories for Radio Rassiya’s 24-hour radio broadcast. Prior to the Dalet implementation, Radio Rassiya used proprietary and analog solutions. Rundown instructions were printed on paper. Today, the news team can quickly produce and broadcast the entire radio news program from their PCs.
XM Satellite
XM Satellite Radio is an industry pioneer. Dalet’s radio technology provides an integrated, digital audio environment for recording, editing, and storing audio; log creation and automated/live playback. Dalet facilitates XM’s workflow flawlessly, providing one set of tools for preparing and broadcasting radio packages. Recently, XM expanded the Dalet installation to accommodate additional channels, streaming and new audio hardware and applications.
Voice of America (VOA)
