The Dalet WebSpace module provides Web-based access to media archives incuding video, audio, graphics, documents and data files such as EDLs and shotlists. The multimedia assets and associated metadata – whether stored online, nearline or offline – can easily be retrieved and shared amongst users. Dalet Enterprise Edition integrates a variaty of workflows so that systems and resources such as traffic, automation, and production systems, are fully connected to the media archives, simplifying media searches and enhancing the use of assets across operations.
Contextual metadata and Enterprise Search Engine
Combined with an enterprise Search Engine, Dalet offers configurable and contextual metadata schemas that allow your oganization to easily evolve your sets of technical and editorial metadata over time. The Dalet workflow engine intelligently drives the users to manually fill in contextual sets of metadata, and back office services handle automatic generation of metadata.

The product includes powerful production tools to ingest content from multiple sources (including P2, robotic tape libraries, XDCam, VTRs, Live feeds, file import), make simple EDLs, exchange shot lists and EDLs with third party production systems, check quality of media, and much more.
