Dalet ActiveLog is a comprehensive software solution that addresses the needs of organizations faced with the challenge of recording and monitoring audio and video feeds. ActiveLog leverages the Dalet loop ingest recording engine to guarantee that no recording is ever missed. Incoming feeds can be a single or multiple audio channels with or without video. A variety of formats and bit rates are supported.
The Dalet ActiveLog architecture is highly scalable. Dalet can be deployed on a stand-alone workstation to record a single feed or rolled-out across a wide area network so as to implement a distributed recording system. As soon as a recording is triggered on the network, corresponding A/V material is immediately available for browsing and logging on the fly by any Dalet ActiveLog workstation. This allows for a number of operations to happen concurrently: authorized users start annotating, while others can select and assign sections that need further analysis or transcription.
A powerful status and notification engine facilitates the implementation of sophisticated workflows. And because access to media is subject to user rights, sensitive recordings can be securely stored in a central content library.
